The Whakat Puffy is inspired by your favorite winter insulator. It features PrimaLoft Bio insulation to keep your feet cozy, and a Bloom algae-blended resin footbed and midsole to keep them comfy while being good for the planet. This pull-on moc also has a crushable heel for casual cruising or quick exits.
Whakat, pronounced fah-cah-TAAH, is Mori for "to catch breath, rest, have a break".
Oboz consulted and got approval from the Mori language and culture guide at Oboz's New Zealand-based parent company, KMD Brands, for use of the name. Oboz intends to honor the Mori culture in the best way - both within KMD Brands' company walls and in the broader community.
